This Custom Family Name sign can accommodate your last name, hometown, school or any other single word. Leave a note to seller at checkout. Your Custom Family Name sign will be cut out using a home made CNC plasma table that precisely cuts out your design using a 50,000 degree plasma torch. Once your design cools I start the finishing process to remove any unwanted slag and smooth out any sharp edges leaving you with a raw steel finish.

ATTENTION- Leave a, "note to seller" at checkout with the Last Name or single word you want cut out. Height changes slightly depending on the length of your last name but the width is always correct. If you need to match a specific dimension, leave it as a note to seller with the last name.

-Finish
I currently offer a raw steel finish as standard on all signs. I strongly encourage you to take this raw finish as a challenge. Let everyone see your creativity as you MAKE the sign your own by painting, waxing or sealing the sign yourself. Left untreated the sign will rust and develop a natural patina completely unique to the environment surrounding the steel.
An indoor clear coat is available at checkout. This is the best option if you like the industrial look of the raw steel and want to preserve the original look (pictured). It is an oil based clear coat that will hold up well inside and is easy to clean.
A UV protected flat outdoor black powder is now available to protect the steel in the toughest conditions including outside in wet and salty conditions. Powder coat is a thick industrial coating that is thicker than paint and holds up for many years. Select this option at checkout.
