What's the difference between the Plasma Maker Table and the Ultimate Maker Table?
It really comes down to one thing, tolerance. The PLASMA DXF files have a generous tolerance of 0.03" (1/33") built into each connection to compensate for the variable kerf in plasma, laser and waterjet cutting operations. This is why the files work on any well maintained CNC machine.
What does that mean in the real world?
The Plasma Maker Table DXF files were made to help ANYONE in the world make a precision welding surface at the lowest possible cost regardless of budget or available equipment. So I had to make some compromises to make that possible. The Plasma Maker Table DXF files fit up looser, take more skill to create square corners and can have some crowning on the short axis. If you are an experienced fabricator you can make this table a precision instrument in your shop by taking your time and using your skills. **2/4/2020 - Every table I use in my shop was cut with these Plasma DXF Files not the new Ultimate Maker Table design. You can achieve perfect corners and flatness to 0.03" over 12 feet if you take your time.

These are the cut files only, no actual parts will be shipped. I will email you the DXF cut files once your payment clears (1-2 days). It is up to you to manage the cutting process with your local supplier and set the specifications for an acceptable cut tolerance.
Can you cut my logo/design out of metal?
The only way to tell if your logo or design is possible is to send me an artwork file and the dimensions. I need both pieces of info to tell you what is possible.
I currently offer a RAW STEEL finish as standard on all signs. Left untreated the sign will rust and develop a natural patina completely unique to your environment. Due to the nature of raw steel, each piece will vary in look, giving you a unique piece.
The INDOOR FLAT CLEAR coat is the best option if you like the look of the raw steel. It is an oil based clear coat that will hold up well inside and is easy to clean. This finish leaves the steel a few shades darker, sometimes even black.
A UV protected SILVER, GLOSS CLEAR or FLAT BLACK powder coat will protect the steel in the toughest conditions including outside in wet and salty environments. Powder coat is a thick industrial coating that is VOC free and holds up for many years.

Very good The only thing I would change is the cutouts in the table ribs would be a great place for the straps to bolt the table together or just add holes to the cutouts themselves.
I purchased the dxf files for the maker tables and fixtures. So far everything is working out perfectly. I currently don’t have everything assembled and have been playing with offsetting kerf cuts on our plasma cuter. But what a time saver purchasing the dxf files at a reasonable price!!! Can’t wait to get these tables assembled and in use.!! It is perfect for a high school welding shop.
Your plans are great in that you've done all the design legwork. However, when I sent your plans to my local laser cutting shop they called to say their Mitsubishi laser cutting machine needs 3/8" registration allowance on all sides. This means they'd have to either: A) Use a 60" wide sheet or B) Re-draw all widths to shrink the table by 3/8" on each side edge to fit on a standard 48" wide sheet. Option A is wasteful; both options are expensive. Sure would be nice if that was thought of ahead of time & built into the plans. Maybe it's specific to their particular laser cutting machine???
