These shelf brackets have a strong and simple design that turns any standard piece of lumber (1" x 8", 1" x 10", 1" x 12") into a clean and modern shelf.  If you need an odd number of Brackets for a longer shelf, contact me and we can work out a custom listing!   -Dimensions - 1" x 8" model measures 3" tall and 9" long - 1" x 10" model measures 3" tall and 10 3/4" long - 1" x 12" model measures 3" tall and 13" long All shelf brackets are cut from 14g mild steel.  These brackets are designed to fit standard lumber sizes available at every local hardware store in the United States. The lumber you get at the hardware store will measure smaller than the labeled dimensions 1" x 8" is actually 3/4" x 7 1/4" this has been accounted for in the design so you will have no trouble sourcing local lumber. All lumber is sized this way and is standard. These shelf brackets are only rated to hold weight if they are installed directly in studs using at least 2" screws (Mounting Hardware Included)   -Finish  INDOOR FLAT CLEAR -DARK (EVEN BLACK) - The Indoor Flat Clear finish is an oil-based matte clear coat that makes the steel darker, sometimes even black. This finish will hold up well inside and is easy to clean. This finish can be darker or lighter than our pictures depending on the recycled steel we use that day.   Send me a message with any questions or concerns!

This UV protected finish will protect the steel in the toughest conditions including outside in wet and salty environments. The mounting holes are spaced 16" which allows you to mount the shelf between two standard studs.
