 This iconic image of Ironworkers eating lunch on a beam comes with hidden floating mounts to make the design float 1" away from the wall when mounted.

Hidden floating mounts are added to the back of this sign, which will stand the sign 1" off the wall.

-Finish

I currently offer a raw steel finish as standard on all signs [Do to the nature of raw steel, the finish will vary for each piece]. I strongly encourage you to take this raw finish as a challenge. Let everyone see your creativity as you MAKE the sign your own by painting, waxing or sealing the sign yourself. Left untreated the sign will rust and develop a natural patina completely unique to the environment surrounding the steel.

An indoor clear coat is available at checkout. This is the best option if you like the industrial look of the raw steel and want to preserve the original look. It is an oil based clear coat that will hold up well inside and is easy to clean.

An outdoor silver, clear, and black powder coat is available to protect your sign in the toughest conditions including outside in wet and salty conditions. Powder coat is a thick industrial coating that is thicker than paint and holds up for many years. Select this option at checkout.

-Process

 Your sign will be cut out using a home made CNC plasma table that precisely cuts out your design using a 50,000 degree plasma torch. Once your design cools I start the finishing process to remove any unwanted slag and smooth out any sharp edges leaving you with a raw steel sign perfect for your antique finish, paint or natural rust.
